Aireborough Rugby Club with the assistance of communitycommitteefunding@leeds.gov.uk is carrying out much needed maintenance on their two rugby pitches in Nunroyd Park this week, partially funded by the Outer North West Community Committee.

The pitch at the top of Nunroyd Park and the smaller pitch on the Guiseley side of the beck will both be re-seeded as well as having large quantities of sand, specialised topsoil and fertiliser applied.

The rugby club and parks department ask that the public avoid pedestrian and dog traffic on the two pitches throughout July and August to allow the new grass to get established and the applied materials to bed in.

The co-operation of park users would be greatly appreciated.
