Cheers to a Great Season: Recognising Outstanding Players and Celebrating Team Spirit

Aireborough RUFC held their annual dinner dance on Friday night at the Bradford Golf Club, marking the end of yet another successful season for the club. The event was attended by a large number of players, staff, supporters, and well-wishers of the club who were all excited to celebrate the achievements of the season and give recognition to outstanding performers.
The highlight of the night was the presentation of awards to deserving players who had distinguished themselves throughout the season. The senior section awards were given to a number of players who had made significant contributions to the club. Tommy Rollinson was awarded the Young Player of the Year, while Ben Hague received the Most Improved Player award. Harvey Sellers was named the 1st Team Player of the Year, with Harry Beckwith winning the Players Player of the Year. Finally, Granville Sellers was awarded the coveted Clubman of the Year award for his exemplary contributions to the club throughout the season.
In addition to the individual player awards, the President, Chris Clarke, took the opportunity to recognise Graeme Forster, who was stepping down from his role as Hon. Chairperson. Clarke thanked Forster for his outstanding work and dedication to the club over the years, expressing the club's appreciation for his contributions.
The night also saw the presentation of the President's Award presented to Andrew Wood, who had been Junior Chairperson of the club for many years. Wood was recognised for his dedication and commitment to the club over the years, and for the outstanding work he had done in helping to develop the junior section of the club.
The event was a huge success, and all those in attendance had a great time. The Bradford Golf Club, which hosted the event, was commended for their exceptional hospitality and service. Aireborough RUFC are looking forward to building on the success of the past season and continuing to grow and develop as a club in the coming year.
