Aireborough RUFC were featured as follows:

Former Salem prop Simon Davies has been promoted from forwards' coach to head coach at Yorkshire Division Three club Aireborough.

The ex-Harrogate prop replaces Matt Trevithick, who, for the moment, is concentrating on work and family commitments, although he will remain as a player and will assist in coaching the juniors.

Former Bradford Grammar School pupil Davies has wasted no time in putting his own stamp on the first XV by appointing versatile back Ollie Catherall as captain and flanker Chris Chapman as vice-captain and pack leader.

Catherall replaces prop Rich Lister, who will continue to be a valued first XV playing member.

Aireborough RUFC chairman Graeme Forster thanked Trevithick and Lister for "improvements in the quality, fitness, attitude and team spirit under their leadership over the past three years".

He added: "They are leaving us with a solid base on which others can build."
